Average BMI and VERY high Body fat percentage?

I’ve just had a gym assessment and whilst my BMI was pretty average 23.0 my body fat percentage was 35% which seems really high! I looked it up and it said obese. The body fat was calculated taking height, weight, bmi, heart rate etc. How would i lower my body fat percentage without loosing too much weight? i’m a 6′2” female weighing 76 kilos. Thanks

If you want to lower your body fat without decreasing your weight too much, then the best thing to do is to build some muscle as you will be able to lose fat, but get a more toned build. You should do around 30-40 minutes of cardio per day and also start some strength training and weight training to increase lean muscle. You should also eat a low fat high protein diet to help this.
